TERMS AND CONDITIONS
THIS IS IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND WE RECOMMEND YOU
READ IT THOROUGHLY
RESERVATIONS: Reservations
are guaranteed upon receipt of a good faith deposit of 20% of the cost of the
trip per person. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
In the event of a cancellation, the deposit (less $150 per person
administration cost, plus any charges levied by suppliers), will be refunded if
written notice is received by Premier Tours at least 60 days prior to
departure. Cancellations after 60 days are subject to the above conditions and
a $500 per person fee plus any charges / penalties levied by hoteliers,
airlines, suppliers and any communication charges. Unused services are not
refundable. Any application for refunds must be submitted in writing within 30
days after returning to the USA.
DOCUMENTATION AND HEALTH:
It is the responsibility of the passenger to insure that passports, visas and
correct health documents are valid before the commencement of any journey.
Ant-malaria precautions are strongly advised and these should commence prior to
arrival in Africa. Please consult your physician.
INSURANCE: Premier Tours
strongly recommends for your protection that you purchase travel insurance to
cover cancellation, the loss, damage or theft of luggage and /or personal
belongings, and for personal injury, accidents and/or illness. Premier Tours IS
NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS/INJURY IN ANY RESPECT WHATSOEVER OCCASSIONED BY ANY OF
THE ABOVE MENTIONED. OCCURANCES: Trip cancellation and interruption insurance
is available from Premier Tours.
BAGGAGE LIMITATIONS:
Economy class allowance per tour participant is two checked pieces for which
the total sum of the three dimensions (length + height + width) does not exceed
107 inches. Intra-Africa flights have strict weight restrictions of 10 kgs per
person.
LOCAL HOST: A local
English-speaking tour manager appointed by Premier Tours or its associate
companies will accompany all sightseeing tours and transfer
services.
TOUR PRICES: All rates
quoted in US dollars. Rates are subject to amendment in the event of any
changes in tariffs or rate of exchange.
NOT INCLUDED: Costs of
international or domestic airfares unless specifically stated in the itinerary,
obtaining passports, visas, inoculations, or other medical expenses, excess
baggage charges, airport taxes, items of a purely personal nature such as
drinks, laundry, telephone calls, meals and services not specifically stated in
the itinerary and / or voucher.
RESPONSIBILITY: Premier
Tours acts only as an agent for the passenger in regard to travel, whether by
railroad, motorcoach, rental car, boat or airplane and assumes no reliability
for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be
occasioned either by reason whatsoever, or through acts of default of any
company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or when carrying out the
arrangements of the tour. Premier Tours accepts no responsibility for personal
property loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes or other causes.
Also, any and all such losses and expenses will have to be borne by the
passenger as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the time stated. The
right is reserve to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which case full
refund will constitute full settlement by the passenger. No refund will be made
for unused portion of the tour unless arranged prior to departure from the USA.
The right is reserved to decline, to accept or retain any person as a member or
any tour. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour, or any part of a tour,
and to make such alterations in the itinerary that seem necessary and
desirable, and to substitute hotel accommodations, whenever
necessary.
AIRLINE RESPONSIBILITY:
The participating carriers are responsible ONLY FOR THE AIR TRAVEL PORTION of
this tour participants in accordance with the terms and conditions of their
passage. Fares are subject to change. Tour services including, but not limited
to, carriage by land or sea, guide services, hotel accommodations, restaurants
and all services other than carriage by air are furnished by contractors who
are independent and do not act for or on behalf of the carrier. THE CARRIER IS
NOT TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACT, OMISSION OR EVENT DURING THE TIME
PASSENGERS ARE NOT ON BOARD IT'S AIRCRAFT. The usual passage contract issued by
them shall constitute the sole contract between them and the tour participant;
and in purchasing a passage contract as part of this tour, the participant
acknowledges and accepts the foregoing conditions.
